Professor Xu Ning from the University of Science and Technology of China, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, is currently the vice dean of the Institute of Future Technologies at the University of Science and Technology of China.
Research direction
Phase transitions, dynamics and rheology of amorphous colloids, glasses, granular materials, etc.; colloidal crystallization and melting; non-equilibrium statistical physics; mechanical metamaterials.
Awards and Honors
2013: The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
2014: Selected for the National “Hundred, Thousand, Ten Thousand” Talent Project and honored as a “Middle-aged and Young Expert with Outstanding Contributions”.
