Professor Ren Xifeng
Professional Biography
Professor Ren Xifeng of the University of Science and Technology of China is a faculty member in the Department of Optics and Optical Engineering, School of Physics, USTC, and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
Research Interests
Currently engaged in theoretical and experimental research on photonic quantum chips and quantum micro-nano optics. The core objective is to integrate quantum light sources, photonic quantum operations, and quantum measurements onto scalable optical chips to realize practical optical quantum computing, quantum simulation, and quantum precision measurement. Has published over 100 SCI papers in journals including Science, Nature, PRL, and NC.
Awards and Honors
Recipient of the Wang Daheng Young Scientist Award in Optics；First Prize in Optical Science and Technology from the Chinese Optical Society；Second Prize in Anhui Province Graduate Teaching Achievement Award,；American Optical Society's Annual Optical Progress； China's Top Ten Optical Advances, and China's Top Ten Socially Influential Events in Optics.
